Job Overview
The Fractional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will provide strategic leadership and expertise in revenue generation on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy Development:
- Create and implement comprehensive revenue strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve performance.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive positioning.
- Customer Engagement:
- Develop strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure cohesive execution of revenue initiatives.

- Budget Management:

- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Assess the efficiency of customer acquisition efforts, aiming to reduce CAC over time.
- Customer Retention Rate: Measure improvements in customer retention and satisfaction scores.
- KPI Achievement: Ensure established KPIs are met or exceeded on a regular basis.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Gauge engagement and satisfaction levels from key clients through feedback and surveys.
- Market Share Growth: Evaluate changes in market share following the implementation of revenue strategies.
- Team Performance: Assess improvements in sales team performance and engagement levels.
- Budget Adherence: Monitor revenue budget performance and ensure alignment with sales initiatives.
- Reporting Accuracy: Ensure that revenue performance reports are timely and accurately reflect business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership or revenue management roles, preferably in a fractional capacity.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing sales processes.
