The Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will provide strategic leadership and expertise in technology development and innovation on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy Development:
- Create and implement comprehensive technology strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Product Development Oversight:
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify technology trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Technical Architecture:
- Develop and maintain the technical architecture of the organization, ensuring scalability and security.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate technology strategy and initiatives to the CEO, Board, and other stakeholders.
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Change Management:
- Support the organization in adapting to technological changes, ensuring a smooth transition for teams and processes.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that all technology practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

- Innovation Metrics: Measure the number of new technologies or products developed and their impact on business goals.
- Risk Management: Assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies in relation to technology and data security.
- Vendor Performance: Evaluate the performance and reliability of technology vendors and service providers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with technology-related regulations and assess any compliance breaches.
- Market Positioning: Evaluate changes in market positioning and technology opportunities following strategy implementation.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in a fractional capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful technology strategies.
- Skills:
